Potato Day
Saturday 6th February 2010
Now is the time to get your seed potatoes if you want to
get an early crop. We will have more than 70 varieties on sale
and this is a great chance to get some tips and tricks from

be something that you can grow to eat - and it's sure to

| Easter At Eggesford Friday 2nd
April to Monday 5th April 2010
Come along to Eggesford Gardens over the Easter Weekend -
there will be a fun Easter Picture Hunt for the kids with
lucky dip prizes for correct entries. Super special offers
for the gardener along with a prize draw. You can also enjoy
Easter treats in the Gardens Restaurant. Please note that
the Gardens Restaurant will be open on Easter Sunday but,
due to Sunday Trading Law, we are not allowed to trade in
the Garden Centre |

5th June 2010
Local Herbalist Hilary Loder will be on site giving
expert advice on growing and using herbs for both culinary
and medicinal purposes. The event is free to attend and
there will be lots of different herb plants on sale. |

A must for all lovers of herbaceous perennial plants,
this event will offer expert advice along with a fantastic
selection of perennials on show and for sale. Growers will
be on hand with superb specimens, tips and tricks and

Sunday 3rd October 2010
A focus on the local environment and native flora and fauna
in the surrounding area. Experts will be on hand from Devon
Wildlife Trust and other well known organisations. Lots of
information and tips on how to encourage wildlife in your
garden along with a wide range of supporting products. |

A great weekend event to
celebrate the English apple. Apple displays - many old and
unusual varieties. Apple, cider, liqueur, wine and cheese
tasting. Home made cakes, preserves, biscuits, chocolates
and sweets. Apple pressing and lots more. |
